Kristen O'Farrell

Kristen O’Farrell began her career at Smith Barney as a Sales Assistant. Soon after passing her Series 7 and 66 (63 & 65 combined) she moved to the futures trading and sales division at Citigroup. At Citigroup, Ms. O’Farrell worked on the Managed Futures trading desk, executing for many of the industry’s most reputable CTAs while providing them with market color and commentary. Further skills in analysis and commentary were developed on an interest rate futures sales desk covering major global hedge funds. There her focus became rate futures and searching for connections and dislocations between interest rates and commodities, equity markets, and foreign exchange, as well as curve analysis in long and short-dated rates in the US and over-seas.

Within the group Ms. O’Farrell will be responsible for the analysis and recommendation of futures and options trading strategies, liaisons with trading advisors, and authoring a weekly research and analysis commentary report.
